James is Co-Founder of Periscope and is an architect with over fifteen years experience working on high profile projects across the UK for private individuals, developers and public sector organisations.
Prior to founding Periscope, James was Associate Director at Studio Egret West working on a range of award winning projects. His projects have included Park Hill, in Sheffield and the London Underground Design Idiom and have been awarded numerous prizes, including being shortlisted for the 2013 RIBA Stirling prize.
James teaches at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London where he co-runs an undergraduate design unit and teaches design realisation in the masters school. James graduated from the Bartlett in 2006 with a distinction.
Daniel is Co-Founder of Periscope and is a chartered landscape architect with over fifteen years experience working with some of the world’s finest landscape and architecture practices. His projects cover a range of scales, from large to small for public and private clients in Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Asia and the USA.
Daniel studied at Leeds School of Architecture & Landscape and at Wageningen UR in the Netherlands, graduating in 2004 with a distinction and also receiving the Landscape Institute prize for Design Excellence.
His projects have won numerous awards, including a BALI Award for St Mary’s Churchyard Park (with MSP) and a New London Architecture Award for Public Realm (with Studio Egret West).
