Volker Fitzpatrick have commenced work on the new public realm for Meridian Water Station. Designed in the later part of 2018, our project provides temporary access routes across the Willoughby Lane development site to the west of the station and a new public square to the east. Works include a new pedestrian crossing, lighting, cycle parking, over 300 linear metres of rain gardens and enabling utilities works for future Meanwhile Uses.
We're delighted that the first phase of works for our project at the Whitmore School has started on site. Working with the school's team, Anthology and Apex Contractors we are a creating a woodland wonderland where children can kick off their shoes, camp, climb trees, pond dip and tell stories - a world away from a traditional school playground. The project will be finished this autumn.
