We've been looking into concrete casting methods using found materials combined with digital fabrication. We will be publishing a research folio in the coming weeks. The work has been supported by a research grant from the Architecture Research Fund of the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.

We've been longlisted for our Eastbourne beach huts proposal, the beach hut will feature as one of five to be built and will form part of the culture trail linking the Towner Art Gallery in Eastbourne, the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill and the Jerwood Gallery in Hastings.

James is on a 'study trip' in Europe this week with UG11 from the Bartlett. They're looking at concrete applications past, present and future. Seeing the origins of concrete in Rome, some great engineering in Turin, cutting edge research at ETH Zurich, the Rolex Centre in Lausanne and finishing with a stay at La Tourette and Ronchamp in France.
We’ve been awarded the Architectural Research Fund from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London for research into community built structures and the digital fabrication of found materials.
